heal. grow. thrive.
with Eva Billik, lcsw

  • Do you often feel overwhelmed or dissatisfied, even though your life looks "successful" on paper?
  • Are you caught in cycles of self-criticism, perfectionism, or overthinking that leave you feeling stuck?
  • Do you rely on hyper-independence because asking for support feels uncomfortable?
  • Is your confidence outwardly strong, yet internally, you struggle with self-doubt or imposter syndrome?
  • Do you find yourself repeating patterns—whether in relationships, work, or self-care—that no longer serve you?
  • Are you ready to understand the root of these behaviors and create meaningful, lasting change?

Eva's

A trauma-informed, holistic perspective

I consider movement, nutrition, and sleep alongside traditional interventions. Movement has been key to my own healing, and I encourage clients to explore the mind-body connection as part of their growth.

An intuitive,
dynamic style

Rooted in lived experience and evidence-based modalities, my goal is to create a space where clients can reconnect with their inner wisdom, expand their capacity for healing, and cultivate a life that truly feels aligned with their most authentic values and desires.

Informed by an intersectional lens

Recognizing how identity, access, power, and privilege shape our experiences, my unique approach remains open-minded, creative, and highly adaptable. Through collaborative and compassionate methods, I aim to create space for healing, self-awareness, and transformation.

Somatic Interventions

Somatic interventions are body-based healing techniques that help release stress, trauma, and emotional tension. Unlike traditional talk therapy, which focuses on thoughts and feelings, somatic approaches engage the body to support healing on a deeper level, to achieve nervous system regulation.

Through personal and professional experience, I'm passionate about an integrative approach to healing that helps clients move out of survival, and coping, to a restored sense of balance, safety, and well-being.

Using intentional breathing to calm the nervous system.

these practices can include:

Practices like gentle stretching or trauma-informed yoga to release stored tension.

Simple movements or sensory techniques to help you feel present and safe.

Learning to notice and respond to physical sensations as a way to process emotions.

Frequently asked questions

  • Attachment-focused EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapeutic approach that helps heal attachment wounds by processing past emotional experiences, often related to early relationships with caregivers. It combines traditional EMDR techniques with a focus on improving emotional regulation and interpersonal connections, allowing clients to overcome negative patterns and beliefs formed from past trauma.
  •  Individuals with attachment-related difficulties, such as trouble forming or maintaining healthy relationships
  • Those experiencing feelings of unworthiness, like "I'm too much" or "I'm not enough"
  • People struggling with anxiety, depression, or emotional dysregulation
  • Anyone looking to improve their emotional well-being and build secure attachments with others
  • Treatment Process: You’ll engage in guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to help reprocess past memories and negative beliefs.
  • Effective Processing: As you process, you may experience emotional release and shifts in perspective, which can lead to reduced distress and a change in how you view yourself and others.
  •  Outcome: Expect to feel more emotionally balanced, develop healthier core beliefs, and experience improvements in your relationships and overall well-being.
  • IFS, or Internal Family Systems, is a therapeutic approach that views the mind as made up of distinct "parts," each with its own feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. These parts often develop as a way of coping with past experiences. In IFS therapy, the goal is to help you connect with and heal these parts, particularly the wounded or protective parts, so you can achieve greater inner harmony and self-compassion.
  • Individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, or trauma
  • Those experiencing internal conflict, such as feeling torn between different desires or emotions
  • People who have difficulty self-soothing or managing overwhelming feelings
  • Anyone looking to build greater self-awareness and compassion by understanding their inner "parts"
  • Post-Treatment Changes: After working through IFS, you may notice a greater sense of inner peace, self-acceptance, and clarity as your parts are better understood and integrated.
  • Ongoing Benefits: You'll likely experience improved emotional regulation and healthier relationships with yourself and others.
  • Continued Growth: Expect to have more compassion for yourself, reducing internal conflicts and allowing you to respond to life with more balance and resilience.
